The Most Anticipated Luxury Launches: The VeryFirstTo Luxforecast Awards Summer 2013

The results of the VeryFirstTo Luxforecast Awards are in! The list covering the most eagerly anticipated luxury launches of Summer 2013 is judged by a panel of industry style and design influencers including; Giles Deacon, Joan Burstein, Sir John Hegarty, Gurinder Chadha and Professor Wendy Dagworthy.

Motoring: Bentley Mulsanne 

This season’s top spot was awarded to the Bentley Mulsanne.

With the cabin acting as a Wi-Fi hotspot and a six-piece Schedoni luggage set as extra, the Mulsanne’s new features offer ‘additional levels of comfort, choice, privacy and entertainment options’. A combination of unrivalled luxury and effortless performance.

Tech: Teenage Engineering OD-11

The world’s first cloud speaker looks as good as it sounds. Complete with sound processor, integrated Wi-Fi and amplifier delivering 100w this sleek speaker uses a simple volume remote using the latest Bluetooth 4 Low Energy chip, allowing it to run for years on a single button cell battery.

Leisure: Neoteric Hovercraft BW1

The world’s first hovercraft golf cart has been designed with the look of a traditional golf cart, featuring a motorcycle style handle bar to ease steering, as well as a computer operated, reverse thrust system to allow spinning and flying in reverse.

Leisure: Roli Seaboard Grand

Designed by a Dalston-based technology start up this touch-sensitive keyboard allows musicians to manipulate digital sound like never before. Keys can be stroked to bend pitch and wobbled to create vibrato, essentially allowing user control of fundamental sound characteristics. With these sonic possibilities, the keyboard provides an exciting new bridge between acoustic and electronic musical approaches.
